2022-2023 Wrap Up - Highlighting Student Athletes & TK Graduates
To close out the 2022-2023 school year, Saint Monica Preparatory held a signing ceremony for our sports stars. The event recognized both College Bound student athletes and All CIF performers. All CIF Basketball awards went to Sydney G., Kaya G., Logan S. and Daniel K., while an All CIF Soccer award went to Maile O. SMPREP boasted not one, but two League MVPs on its basketball rosters - Daniel K. and Sydney G. Congratulations to all, way to represent our competitive programs! We will continue cheering on our Mariners as they take the court, the green and the track for the following colleges and universities: Basketball - Anthony I. (Cleary University), Max S. (University of Minnesota) and Aiden C. (Lancaster Bible College); Golf - Nayani L. (University of Maryland Eastern Shore); Volleyball - Adriana B. (Santa Monica College) and Track & Field - Ian G. (Southwestern College).
SMPREP's youngest learners in Transitional Kindergarten, led by their teacher Anne Stickley, also hosted a special ceremony at the end of the year. The second annual Bridging Ceremony featured students greeting their gathered families in both Spanish and sign language, then walking across a bridge to Kindergarten. We are so proud of all of our young learners for completing a successful school year, our first as one unified TK-12 school. Congratulations and always continue to be intellectually curious!
