Olive Tree Dedication Ceremony, Complete with Mariachi Band
On August 26, we celebrated completing our first week as one TK-12 school, Saint Monica Preparatory! After gathering in the church as one student body to celebrate mass led by Monsignor Torgerson, students, faculty and staff, and church leaders processed together out the front doors of the church and along our driveway and schoolyard, stopping to bless each door of our Lower and Upper school buildings. Accompanied by a lively mariachi band and joined by parents, the procession culminated in the planting of an Olive Tree on our beautiful campus to symbolize the beginning of a new chapter in our school's history.
