Spotlight on our Upper School Student Leaders

ASB president and vice president, seniors Brooke L. and Lauren U., are excited to finish strong at Saint Monica Preparatory, and are currently working with the full ASB team on planning Mariner Madness Week, March 13-16, a week of special events for our high school students. The week will conclude with a pep rally featuring the final game of the school’s first annual 3v3 basketball tournament. Stephanie Soriano, director of student activities, moderates the ASB.

Brooke also plays volleyball, sings in the choir, is active in clubs including Environmental Club and Thrift for Change and will play Little Red Riding Hood in the school’s spring musical, Into the Woods. She shares, "I hope to attend the University of California San Diego and major in Marine Biology as my dream job is to travel the world and save marine life as a marine veterinarian."

Lauren is also a volleyball player, and volunteers at the American Cancer Society while working with foundations and donors to SMPREP. She shares, "I hope to attend the University of Southern California and major in Psychology with an emphasis in Pre-Med. My dream job is to be a pediatric surgeon and practice general surgery in underdeveloped countries."
