Spotlight: Our Role on Archbishop Gomez’ Anti-Racism Task Force

Saint Monica Preparatory was chosen to participate in the Archbishop of Los Angeles’ Anti-Racism Task Force last year. Our first grade class spent the day at Transfiguration School in Los Angeles, the other participating Archdiocesan school, where students shared qualities that made them similar and celebrated their differences. A small group of our now second and third grade students represented Saint Monica Preparatory’s role on the task force in a meet and greet in September with Archbishop Gomez at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Downtown Los Angeles. Transfiguration, St. Odilia and Precious Blood students also attended.
