Winter Sports Highlights
Way to represent Mariners! With our Spring Sports competitions now in full swing including our new Beach Volleyball team, let’s take a moment to congratulate all of our Upper and Lower School student-athletes for a strong Winter season at SMPREP. Both our elementary and high school students recently held lively pep rallies to celebrate. Highlights include both the Girls and Boys Varsity Basketball teams making it to the playoffs (both were Santa Fe League champions this year), with the Girls team going all the way to CIF Championship Finals and State! Girls Basketball had two All CIF award winners plus League MVP honors, while Boys Basketball had League MVP and the opportunity to play a game on the big stage at Crypto.com arena. Our Boys 7th/8th Green basketball team advanced to the CYO semifinals. Girls Varsity Soccer boasted an All CIF award winner and a first round playoff victory. Follow our new Saint Monica Prep Athletics Instagram account @smprepathletics for sports highlights, schedules and scores. Go Mariners!
